For many people the engine houses at Botallack are the iconic image of Cornish mining, for others it maybe Wheal Coates near St Agnes or perhaps Wheal Prosper near Rinsey. All of these are fine examples of Cornish Tin mining, but one site which is most certainly worth a visit is Wheal Peevor near Redruth Grid Ref SW709442
